adidas | Manchester United Takes Chicago
When Manchester United came to Chicago for the first time in over a decade, adidas wanted more than coverage. They wanted it to feel like something. So we built three things: a story, a moment, and a film.
I knew a straight recap wouldn't be enough. I went looking for the real story and found it in a local Manchester United supporters club based in Chicago. I reached out, met with them, and interviewed their founder. His voice became the narration of the entire film. Someone who had been showing up for this club for years, not because it was easy, but because that's what real supporters do.
I led the full creative direction, concepting and producing a fan activation at the adidas Chicago store where players met supporters and signed a custom poster I art directed for the event. Then I took that energy into post, guiding the team on narrative flow, pacing, and sound to turn it into something cinematic. The kind of film that makes you feel like you were there even if you weren't.
